The Attentive® solution serves as a planning and controlling tool in periodical employee performance appraisals conducted internally by the organization. Implementing the Appraisal module enables supporting widespread HR processes such as performance objective setting, comparison and evaluation of existing objectives, identification of promotion candidates and tracking training needs.
The advanced Appraisal module allows the user to define a workflow for the appraisal process. The workflow is defined as a sequential progression between stages using the participants´ roles, such as a self-evaluator, direct manager and indirect manager. Matrix evaluation may be applied as well, in which evaluators may be assigned without regarding their hierarchy position, such as professional evaluators, trainers and project managers. The appraisal questionnaires will be automatically sent to evaluators while proceeding in the workflow´s stages.

Workflow creation mechanism - Enables the definition of sequential process stages, including definition of appraisers for each stage, selecting the questions to be shown in each stage (questionnaire profile), setting an e-mail message to be sent at the beginning of the stage, deciding whether approval of the evaluation given in the stage is needed to be done in the next stage (if not approved, the appraisal will return to the un-approved stage appraiser).
Process management - Is done using status display- the stage an evaluation is in currently, the answering rate stages may be updated manually if needed.

Attentive® organizational evaluations portal - Will assist the participants in the performance appraisal process. In addition, the portal enables managers to produce reports concerning their employees, such as comparison between them, comparison between the employee's and the unit´s measurements.

The workflow starts with the appraised employee himself placing his self evaluation. The next step is the direct manager giving his own feedback and from there to the indirect manager for approval and further evaluation. Afterwards the questionnaire travels to the employee´s professional supervisor and then returns for the direct manager, which approves the final appraisal form. The form then travels to the employee, during his appraisal meeting with the direct manager adds his remarks and insights concerning the appraisal process.
